Profile
An occupational therapist based in North Lincolnshire, Sarah has over 10 years’ experience predominantly specialising in rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with life-limiting conditions, including but not limited to cancer, multiple sclerosis, complex neurological and respiratory conditions. Sarah is passionate about individualised goal setting and providing self-management resources to enable individuals to participate in activities that are most meaningful to them. Sarah’s current role is within a hospice, leading and managing well-being centre services whilst maintaining a complex clinical caseload of clients from diagnosis and recovery through to palliative and end of life care. The core of her role is to provide the full occupational therapy process to support individuals to manage their symptoms and be as independent as possible with their daily activities, including remaining in paid employment. Alongside this work, Sarah provides specialist occupational therapy case management for clients following personal injury including complex orthopaedic trauma and clients with vocational rehabilitation needs.
